Microsoft Headquarters Germany | Construction Documentary timelapse

Already in the coming year construction is to begin for the German Microsoft Headquarter situated on the northern side of Munich. After Paris, Munich is to become the second largest office of the IT enterprise in Europe. The computer giant has signed a long-term lease agreement for one of the last of ARGENTA Group’s remaining sites in Parkstadt Schwabing. GSP Architects are to develop plans for sustainable, built-to-suit premises, aiming for LEED gold certification. Microsoft is going to realize their own 26,000 m² office utilization concept fulfilling modern working environment requirements. This concept has already successfully been developed for Microsoft offices across the globe. The new headquarter provides employees with a canteen and fitness area. The completion of the new building is scheduled for summer 2016.

thank you for your question! (Very good one! :D)
These "spheres in the concrete technology" replaces the massive cement within a reinforced concrete ceiling and makes a ceiling considerably lighter in weight.
